A genius in his own mind, Victor Frankenstutter is a mad scientist with many ideas, but never catches his big break. The character is based on the old science fiction and horror movies of the 1940’s and 1950’s. I looked to the old cinema masters Vincent Price and Bela Lugosi while designing the look and mannerisms of Victor.

A mad scientist wouldn’t be complete without his trustworthy hunchback assistant. Serving in this role is Ted who is faithful to Victor and his outlandish experiments yet is often the voice of reason in many situations.

Victor comes from a long heritage of mad scientists. His father, Fredrich, is legendary
in the mad scientist community and Victor has a hard time living up his Dad’s expectations.

Victor never really liked Vincent because of his brother’s many successes. That is until Victor discovered Vincent is actually a scientific experiment gone awry. Victor’s father created Vincent from his own DNA to have the perfect heir to his scientific genius. When his DNA corrupted over time, Fredrich abandoned Vincent. Now Victor supports his brother and continues to search for a cure for Vincent’s condition.

Victor inherited his pet chicken from his late Uncle Milton. Look for the chicken to make more appearances in future comics!
